Scholarship Winners 2020

Amber Thornton from Nova Scotia is the winner of the $1,000 Di Setchell Memorial Bursary and is headed to Mount Saint Vincent University and is planning on becoming an Elementary School Teacher in French Immersion.
Lauren Boudreau from Cape Breton is the winner of the $750 J Russell Kline Memorial Bursary and she is headed to Mount Saint Vincent University in a BA Program for Child and Youth Study.
2021 Scholarships and Bursaries - Coming Soon
Every year we offer scholarships and bursaries to students living with epilepsy and are pursuing post secondary education.
We upload the new scholarship applications in January with the criteria and we accept them until mid June.
$1000 Di Setchell Memorial Bursary
Open to all full-time students who live with epilepsy in the Maritimes and is awarded based on financial need.
$750 James Russell Kline Memorial Bursary
Open to all students who live with epilepsy in the Maritimes and is awarded based on financial need.
$1000 EAM Memorial Scholarship
Open to all students who live with epilepsy in the Maritime Provinces and have an average of 80 or above.

Hannah Hubley, recipient of the Di Setchell Memorial Bursaries for $1,000 and $650; Hannah Hubley is taking the Social Services program at the Pictou Campus this year;
Jenna Leadbetter, recipient of the J. Russell Kline Memorial Bursary for $750 and the EAM Memorial Bursary for $500; Jenna Leadbetter will be attending Mount St. Vincent University and working on a degree in Child and Youth Study
Allison Smith, winner of the EAM Memorial Scholarship for $500. Allison Smith will be attending NSCC Lunenburg Campus to complete her Practical Nursing Program.
